It takes a lot of hard work and perseverance! Unlike BIS employees modders are unpaid and overworked and do it only for their passion & obsession. Rather it's the 'Life' mods or 'DayZ'-like. I've assisted the dev teams of a couple other Arma2 DayZ 'mods' and respect ALL work that is put into these recent accomplishments. I've watched them all huddle together and pray since it's alpha was released that they would be safe from DayZ and Arma 3 would be retained as a the premium mil-sim it was presented as. There are droves of players that HATE to see ''DayZ like'' modding come to Arma 3.

This is it's own marginal gaming culture. Best of luck with everything, looking forward to playing SA whenever its ready. Hopefully people can be more civil about and not turn it into a "this vs. Ultimately I feel the same as you in the sense that the more mods are out there doing their own thing, the better. We were originally going to use Chernarus as the main map but then figured it probably wouldn't compete with your version, so there no point. That was one of the guiding lights when creating Arma3 Breaking Point, "so this is what we feel Standalone is probably doing, how can we do our own thing?" because in the end, you have significantly greater resources than we do so whatever path you're taking is one we can't compete with. I have the utmost respect for your project and what you're doing as I firmly believe in spending the time to create something that YOU feel strongly about, which is clearly what you're doing. I've been a DayZ supporter since June 2012, I always tried to post positive comments in the patch change log threads when everyone was complaining about their latest problem as I respect the process immensely.
